To gain the qualification there are three exams that need to be taken and you have to pass all three of them. The functional skills level 2 English online exam has three different parts that each part will look at. The first exam looks at your reading skills, the second exam looks at your writing skills and the last exam looks at your speaking, listening and communicating skills. If you didn’t do well in one of the exams, you can resit that exam and not all three, to achieve the qualification.
